Südzucker UK have today announced their accreditation to the BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers. The certification verifies that the company is compliant with an international framework of best practices ensuring food product safety and quality. This includes a legally conforming supply chain management process and an effective traceability system.
BRC Global Standards is a leading brand and consumer protection organisation, used by over 25,000 certificated suppliers over 130 countries, with certification issued through a global network of accredited certification bodies. The BRC Global Standards guarantee the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.

This is an important addition to the existing certifications for Südzucker UK’s products and supply chain. All Sudzucker subsidiary companies are accredited to BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 7, or the equivalent IFS (International Featured Standards) accreditation ensuring that the full supply chain, including processes related to beet cultivation, product manufacturing, packaging and transfer, is quality managed to rigorous international standards.
